The Fortress is so vast, it requires special instructions (see above) just to view it all. The three towers located to the southwest of what you see above had to be done as a separate project, due to the more-than-generous constraints within Planner 5D. See those HERE.
The Great Royal Fortress of Aesha'an, also known as the Maquesta Fortress, or to Aesha'ani as simply the Fortress, is located in the Aesha'ani capital city of Majere. It boasts all of the trappings of a palace, but is built like a fortress. It is enclosed within two one-hundred-foot walls, between which sits a moat complete with steel spikes protruding from the bottom and gators lurking in between. The walls are lined with guard towers and soldiers patrol the walls at all times, making Altair's invasion, achieved through sheer stealth, deception and hubris, all the more shocking.
The facade of the Fortress faces northeast and is accessed through one of three gates: the Dragon Gate, the main gate, located on the northeast side of the keep and leading directly to the main entrance; the Kraken Gate on the west side, leading onto Royal Landing Beach on the shore of the Great Rolling Sea; and the Wolf Gate on the south side, leading into the Wooden Grove, which surrounds the fortress walls in the north, east and south. It is through the Wolf Gate that the Fortress is breached for the first time in six hundred years, by just one hundred men and a handful of treasonous, easily-swayed maids.
